Erasmus+ Programı

Bölümümüz Avrupa Birliği Erasmus+ Programı kapsamında 11 Avrupa üniversitesi ile ikili işbirliği anlaşması imzalamış bulunmaktadır. Bu üniversiteler:

Anlaşmamız olan üniversitelerle lisans ve lisanüstü düzeylerde öğrenci değişimi yapılmaktadır. Erasmus Programı kapsamında öğretim elemanı değişimi de yapılmaktadır. Her yıl bu üniversitelerden öğretim üyeleri bölümümüzde ders vermekte; aynı şekilde bölümümüz öğretim üyeleri de eğitim vermek üzere anlaşmalı olduğumuz üniversitelere gitmektedir.
Bölümümüz diğer Avrupa Birliği Eğitim Programlarına da etkin olarak katılmaktadır. 2002 yılında katıldığımız Erasmus Konulu Ağlar (Thematic Networks) kapsamında desteklenenLe Notre: Peyzaj Mimarlığı Konulu Ağ Projesi bunlardan bir tanesidir. Proje kapsamında Avrupa’da peyzaj mimarlığı eğitimi her yönüyle ele alınmaktadır. Proje ile ilgili daha fazla bilgi içinhttp://www.le-notre.orgadresine bakınız.Bölümümüzün Erasmus Programı kapsamında Akdeniz Üniversitesi Mühendislik Fakültesi Çevre Mühendisliği bölümü ile birlikte yer aldığı bir diğer proje iseCOZIP: Avrupa’da Bütünleşik Kıyı Alanları Yönetimi Yoğun Programıprojesidir. 2005 yılında başlayan ve 3 yıl süren projede İngiltere, Galler, İrlanda, İspanya ve Malta’dan üniversiteler yer almıştır. Projenin ilk etabı 14-29 Haziran 2005 tarihleri arasında Akdeniz Üniversitesi’nde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Proje kapsamında 30 yabancı öğrenci ve 12 yabancı öğretim üyesi gelmiş ve bölümümüzden de 10 öğrenci ve 5 öğretim üyesinin katılımıyla 15 günlük bir eğitim programı gerçekleştirilmiştir. Projenin 2. etabı 25 Haziran-10 Temmuz 2006 tarihleri arasında Southampton (İngiltere) ve Swansea (Galler)’de gerçekleştirilmiştir. Proje kapsamında Akdeniz Üniversitesi Peyzaj Mimarlığı ve Çevre Mühendisliği bölümlerinden lisans, yüksek lisans, doktora öğrencileri ve öğretim üyeleri Southampton Solent Üniversitesi, Swansea Yüksek Eğitim Enstitüsü ve Cork Üniversitesi’nden (İrlanda) öğrenci ve öğretim üyeleriyle beraber çalışmalarda bulunmuşlardır. Projenin 3. etabı ise 10-24 Haziran 2007 tarihleri arasında Cork (İrlanda)’da gerçekleştirilmiştir.

Erasmus Yoğun Programlar kapsamında yürütücülüğünü bölümümüzün yaptığı Cultural Landscapes in Landscape Design (Culturescape)isimli proje de Ulusal Ajans tarafından desteklenmektedir. Bu projede bölümümüzün yanı sıra Ankara Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Peyzaj Mimarlığı Bölümü, Brüksel Erasmus Üniversitesi (Belçika) ve Dresden Uygulamalı Bilimler Üniversitesi (Almanya) yer almaktadır. Üç yıllık öngörülen projenin ilk etabı bölümümüzün organizasyonu ile 3-16 Temmuz 2011 tarihlerinde üniversitemiz Adrasan tesislerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yaz okulu şeklinde yapılan organizasyona 28 öğrenci ve 9 öğretim üyesi katılmıştır. Projenin 2. etabı 1-14 Temmuz 2012 tarihlerinde Brüksel’de (Belçika) gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu etaba 30 öğrenci ve 9 öğretim üyesi katılmıştır. Projenin 3. ve son etabı 30 Haziran-13 Temmuz 2013 tarihlerinde Dresden’de (Almanya) gerçekleştirilmiştir. BÖLÜMÜMÜZE GELEN ERASMUS ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN İZLENİMLERİ

Monika BOBOWSKA – University of Warsaw (Poland)

When I was choosing Landscape Architecture at Akdeniz University for my Erasmus studies I was full of doubts as my original field of study was Urban Planning. Now, after a year of studying at Akdeniz University, I am very happy I’ve made this decision. From the very beginning, I could be assured of support from my teachers who helped me with choosing interesting lectures and were always very understanding and helpful. Thanks to them I have learnt things I wouldn’t learn in my home university. I am thankful to teachers for giving courses in English however joining lectures in Turkish was never a problem. I enjoyed a lot nice and very friendly atmosphere so studying there was a real pleasure.

Baska TOBOLAROVA – Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (Slovakia)

People in Antalya were really helpful and kind. I can say, the Erasmus program changed my opinions about Turkey, and about people there and completely changed my life. During this incredible year I realized how important is for me my studying, I realized that my department is the best choice what could I do because I learned so much there and had fun at the same time. I am grateful to all professors from my department, to all my Turkish schoolmates, and my Erasmus friends as well that they helped me so much. After this experience, I just wish to come back to Akdeniz University and continue there my master's studies. I would like to say one more time to all our professors from Akdeniz University, thank you for your patience, help, and new attitude that you could show us, now I can see things more clearly. The landscape department of Akdeniz University offered me exactly what an Erasmus student is expecting: understanding, great support, friendly teachers, working in a nice atmosphere, get motivated, the opportunity to share ideas and find out new concepts… at last but not least always feeling happy to join the lessons. I can only say that probably the most important thing I have learned abroad was to love my field of studying and next to the other things I have gained through this experience, I can number self-developing and learning. I will always remember our nights standing, working together, and helping each other with projects. It was a lot of work and what I couldn’t realize for the moment, was that we would start missing that times right after it finished.  I thank the teachers and our classmates for their understanding and for these unforgettable memories of one year which ended too soon.

Radu Mircea Giurgiu – Cluj-Napoca (Romania)

Going to Turkey was like exploring the unknown. I knew so little things about this country, but it blew me off. I am so happy I had the chance to know Turkey pretty well during 5 months, learning about people, and culture and traveling in beautiful places. I didn’t know what to expect from the University I was about to study at. What I found, was starting with a great campus like I never saw before; even though was a long way from my faculty (Agriculture Faculty), I enjoyed every day passing this campus. The level of the department I am studying was higher than I expected. I was very pleased to see how many things I can learn from this period, and I improved a lot my knowledge of my field of study (Landscape Architecture). I was very thankful for the courses in English that our teachers were giving us, but I enjoyed also joining the Turkish class for some courses that involved projects, and I didn’t feel like I was left aside, but contrary to feeling part of the class. I appreciated a lot the relationship between students and teachers which was one based on respect, but students could talk with teachers about their problems with courses finding together a solution. I liked and benefited from the quick help of the assistants; all the time I needed they helped me in everything not only school-related things. Erasmus experience was an opportunity to make new friends and I left Turkey having great friends from the country and not only, that I still keep in touch now. Traveling was the way to know better this country and its culture and fall in love with it. Turkey will always be a part of my life, a part that changed me, in a good way, and opened new horizons for me.
